WB Travel App Redesign

Project overview
WB Travel is a mobile travel app for searching, booking, and managing trips. The product had not been systematically updated for several years, so the redesign focused on rebuilding the core flight booking experience: search, ticket comparison, passenger details, payment, and add-on services.
Problem
The previous app felt outdated and inconsistent. Production screens had drifted away from the original design, key flows became harder to use, and many patterns no longer matched modern mobile guidelines.
This created friction across search, ticket selection, booking, payment, and order management — leading to low user satisfaction and weak store ratings.
Goals
We focused on three levels of impact: making the booking flow easier for users, improving travel revenue opportunities, and measuring success through conversion, retention, and store rating.
Constraints
Legacy App Architecture
The redesign had to work within the technical limits of the existing mobile app.
MVP Launch Scope
The first release had to focus on core booking functionality without overloading the roadmap.
Platform Guidelines
The interface needed to better align with iOS and Android mobile interaction patterns.
Existing User Habits
The redesign had to improve the experience without making familiar travel flows harder to use.
Key Insights
Key desicions
Three key interactions were redesigned to make routing rules easier to review, update, and control during daily operations.
From Search to Booking
Final interface
The final design brings flight search, ticket comparison, booking, payment, travel extras, and order management into a cleaner mobile experience.

Impact
After launch, the redesigned app improved the mobile travel experience and helped rebuild user trust in the product.
